As the Taliban takes control of Afghanistan and we see the thousands of citizens wanting to leave the country, Call of Hope is continuing to minister to the men, women, and children in their need. We visit with Dr. Samuel Naaman about what he is hearing from the Call of Hope workers and how we can rally behind them as they are the hands and feet of Jesus to suffering brothers and sisters in these turbulent times.
Children notice from a young age when something about their appearance is different from others. This can be confusing and embarrassing to some children and result in a negative body image. Dr. Samuel Naaman is a professor in the Department of Intercultural Studies at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Upon earning a Bachelor’s in Social Work, he began work with Operation Mobilization and later with Campus Crusade. He earned two Master’s degrees in South Korea. He is the President of the South Asian Friendship Center in Chicago.
