Hour 1: The Cost of Discipleship: A Rebroadcast of a Prepared Devotional Thought with Brian Bill

We can sometimes romanticize the life of a disciple as a cakewalk when Jesus actually calls for us to take up our cross daily. The life of the Jesus followers is one that calls us to the less than popular life of self-denial and self-discipline.  Listen to this important message from Pastor Brian Bill that reminds us that salvation is delightful, but discipleship is often difficult. Hear what it truly means to be a disciple of Jesus and experience an abundant life.

Hour 2: World Relief Moline: A Conversation with Kaylee Fisher

What breaks your heart? Do you grieve at the news of the situation in Afghanistan and wonder if there is anything you can do to help? World Relief Moline has befriended, welcomed, and supported thousands of refugees from Afghanistan, and they do their work because of the help they receive from people in the community and church support. We welcome Kaylee Fisher to Ken and Deb in the Morning to talk about the work of World Relief in our community and how we can join them in their work and be a welcoming community for all who seek to make a new home here.
