Take a seat in Bible Professor Jim Coakley’s radio classroom as he schools us in the Bible study technique of “Step Up to the Mic.” This technique will have you looking more closely at the quotations and red letters in scripture. Dr. Coakley takes us through various examples of this in the old and new testaments, and we discover together another layer of understanding and application.
One of your family outings this summer may include a trip to a “real theater.” It’s been a while since many of us have sat in those comfy theater seats with a big tub of popcorn, so you may not be familiar with the movies coming out this summer. Help is on the way with Plugged In’s Adam Holz. Adam gives us a rundown of some of the summer releases and what to be considering when looking for a family-friendly flick.
Dr. Jim Coakley has taught for sixteen years as professor of Bible at Moody Theological Seminary specializing in Old Testament and Biblical Languages. Prior to Moody he was involved in pastoral ministry for thirteen years. He has traveled to Israel multiple times as a tour leader and has also toured throughout Turkey.
