Hour 1: Mark Negley: Survive, Alive, Thrive

To close out this week of Life after Loss, author Mark Negley recounts a season of loss after loss and how God helped him to navigate those stormy seas. Mark discovered that there is a path to hope, joy, and abundant life that transcends our current circumstances. He’ll offer up his personal testimony that life after loss is all about a change of perspective that goes way beyond what the world throws our way.

Hour 2: Mel Lawrenz: A Chronicle of Grief

Today’s guest has learned by experience that loss can happen very quickly, leaving behind a whole new reality for our lives. Mel Lawrenz tells about the sudden loss of his 30-year-old daughter and how his grief story has become motivation to come alongside others on the journey in his book, “A Chronicle of Grief.” Mel visits with Ken and Deb about his personal story and schools all of us on how to bring comfort and bear one another’s burdens after a sudden loss.
