Parenting expert Danny Huerta is joining Ken and Deb to offer a parenting pep talk for going through this cozy holiday season with your teens. Normally, teens would have Christmas parties to attend, holiday concerts, and school sport, but now because of COVI-19, families are spending more time together at home. Danny will highlight how this is a unique opportunity to grow closer while issuing a warning for parents on what could hinder that from happening.
This morning we woke up to the sad news that Temple Emanuel in Davenport was a target of an antisemitic attack. The graffiti that was sprayed on the building was a reference from the Bible. How are we to respond to such attacks and misuse of God's Word? What is Jesus' heart for the Jewish people? Stewardship Representative Gerad Hall joined Ken and Deb to talk about this attack, unpacking truths about antisemitism and taking us to the Bible verse and its meaning.
