Next week is National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child and Friday we have the joy of hearing from a Shoebox recipient. Jaki Hernandez was left at an orphanage when she was a few months old and received an Operation Christmas Child Shoebox when she was five years old. Be listening to hear how God worked through that shoebox and what brought her to the place where now she is packing shoeboxes to share the love of Jesus with other children like herself.
Are you a grateful person? Are your eyes open to the mercies of God and the kindness of others? Friday we close out our week talking with Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth who shares how her and her husband Robert are practicing gratitude through a challenging season in their life and marriage. You’ll be encouraged to hear how they are choosing gratitude through a cancer journey and how this has been a life preserver through this stormy year in their lives.
Nancy Leigh DeMoss Wolgemuth has touched the lives of millions of women through Revive Our Hearts and the True Woman Movement, calling women to heart revival and biblical womanhood. Her love for the Word and the Lord Jesus are infectious. A passion for God permeates her online outreaches, conference messages, books, and two daily nationally syndicated radio programs—Revive Our Hearts and Seeking Him with Nancy Leigh DeMoss. She has authored 18 books, including Lies Women Believe, Lies Young Women Believe, A Place of Quiet Rest and Seeking Him. Her books have sold more than 2.5 million copies.
