This year has been full of changing plans and schedules, but one truth remains through the flux and that is that God is in control. There is nothing that has happened or will happen in 2020 that brings surprise or shock to God. Monday we begin a week-long theme, "Keep Calm: God is in Control", and Dr. Winfred Neely will kick-off the conversation on Ken and Deb in the Morning with wisdom from God's Word and a lifetime of wisdom that flows out of his life of faith.
Three out of five people admit to doing more than they can manage. Why do we feel the need to overextend our schedules and life? Kelly Balarie will talk to us about her personal experience in striving to meet everyone else's expectations, and how Jesus calls us to a different kind of rhythm that results in rest for our souls. It's a conversation on how to find a more peaceful life by learning how to say no, set boundaries, and seize joy.
Kick off your week with the Mid-Morning Show Coffee Break!
