Slavic Gospel Association’s Christ Over COVID project has literally changed the lives of Russians with the gift of food and a Bible. On Friday we will welcome SGA’s Eric Mock to the program to share stories of seeing God’s love in action. Eric spends 1/3 of his time in the former Soviet Union, often in locations such as pagan villages above the Arctic Circle or the war zone in Ukraine. Join Ken and Deb as they hear a firsthand report of how local believers in Russia are seizing this opportunity to “let their lights shine” during the COVID 19 pandemic.
When you consider the challenges in our families, community, and Nation, what action step is most needed right now? If you answered prayer, you’ll want to listen in Friday as we catch up with Pastor Nate Schaefer from Passion Church. He is organizing a prayer outreach for our community ministry leaders that you can live stream this weekend. Be listening for the details on how you can join the intercession for our community as we seek God’s help and direction in these difficult days.
Eric Mock is the Vice President of Ministry Operations for the Slavic Gospel Association. Prior to his role at SGA, he was engaged in military flight test and space systems integration for 16 years. While serving on the International Space Station program in Moscow, he developed a special love for the Russian people. Called out of aerospace into ministry in 2002, Eric travels and ministers throughout the Russian-speaking nations and the USA to serve faithful Bible-preaching churches. His passion is to see God’s people serve and live their lives on mission for the sake of the Gospel.
