The COVID 19 pandemic has had an unintended consequence of a resurgence of localism. As we are staying closer to home, how has that impacted you and your ministry in your neighborhood? Thursday we visit with Shauna Pilgreen about moving into a new neighborhood and learning how to serve and work for the good of her community and city. She is sharing the message that God does have a plan and purpose for you right where you are. Be listening for the encouragement to intentionally live out that purpose today.
The Center in Davenport continues to be a hub for help in the community God has placed them and Thursday we’ll hear an update from Center Director Penny Kellenberger. Be listening for the many ways that the ministry has responded during the pandemic and this recent heat wave. Penny will share some of the current community needs and how you can help the Center meet those needs.
