Monday we will visit with Dougal Nelson, President CEO, Junior Achievement of the Heartland, about the Making Sense resource that is being offered to caregivers to help students deal with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic through education and relationship.
There are plenty of resources online for homeschooling children, activities that kids can do at home, and surviving the quarantine, but Monday we’re going to explore how this time can be a perfect opportunity to work on our conversation skills with our children. Danny Huerta will outline five different kinds of questions to ask and talk about the important skill of listening. We’ll also address how to help our kids positively transition out of quarantine when the country opens up again
