The Christmas season is difficult for so many people as we live in an increasingly lonely world. As connections online grow, we can feel isolated and all alone. Moody Bible Institute President Mark Jobe will be with us Wednesday to remind us of the hope of Immanuel, God with us. He will show us how Jesus’ birth was missional, to seek and to save and to be truly present with us. Be listening for this encouraging message of Advent to hear and to share with others this Christmas season.
This past weekend unidentified shooters killed 14 people attending church in Burkina Faso. Wednesday Todd Nettleton will tell us what is known about the attack and how we can pray for the church there. He’ll also update us on a recent “trial” for an elder of Early Rain Covenant Church in China. We will hear about his recent sentence and what this outcome reveals about the current situation in China. Be listening for specific prayer requests and practical ways we can be an encouragement to our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.
