Americans are struggling with addiction to painkillers and this addiction is not just a problem outside of the church. Many within the church walls are suffering in silence because of the shame often associated with being addicted to drugs. Monday we visit with a couple who have walked this journey and have a message for the church community. It is a message that calls us to set aside judgment and to serve those that are suffering with compassion and in community.
West Africa is home to hundreds of unreached people groups and Monday we are going to introduce a project that, when completed, will broadcast the gospel to over 182 million people. Jon Fugler from TransWorld Radio will join Ken and Deb to share an overview of the Oasis Transmitter project. Jon will tell us how we can play a part in helping complete the project and get the message of the cross out to the world's most dangerous place for Christians.
Begin each day with Ken and Deb in the Morning, a live and local radio broadcast designed to get you going in the right direction. Heard every weekday from 6 to 9 a.m., hosts Ken Brooks and Deb Gustafson will encourage you with Scripture, spark thoughtful conversation on current topics and challenge you to live today for Jesus Christ.
