As the Mississippi River flood waters recede, businesses and families are now having to deal with the damage left behind. Wednesday Ken and Deb will get an update on relief efforts with Bill Horrell from the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army is continuing to hand out donations at their distribution center and are in need of supplies and volunteers to staff the center. Be listening for ways that you can get involved in helping those affected by this year’s historic flooding in our community.
How can you be involved in praying and helping those men, women, and children that are being persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ? Every other Wednesday Todd Nettleton from Voice of the Martyrs joins Ken and Deb to share the latest news from persecuted believers. Todd tells their story, offering ways to pray and to support our suffering brothers and sisters in Christ.
Ken's morning devotional comes from www.PaulTrip.com. The devotional titled "C.S. Lewis On Relationships" was written by Paul Trip
