Persecution and the Gospel

This year marks 40 years since the Islamic revolution in Iran.On Wednesday Todd Nettleton from Voice of the Martyrs will join Ken and Deb to share what Iranian Christians say about the spread of the Gospel and who they believe to be the greatest missionary. He will also share an update from Asia Bibi, who remains in Pakastan even though there's no legal reason to keep her there; The deadline to apply to Moody Bible Institute is fast approaching and President Mark Jobe will be with us to talk about the benefits of a Moody Bible Institute education, which includes 90% job placement for graduates.

In his role with VOM, he has met with Christians who face persecution in many countries, including Sudan, China, Egypt, Turkey, Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar (Burma) and Azerbaijan.

Dr. Mark Jobe is the 10th President of Moody Bible Institute. He is also an author, radio host, pastor, and social entrepreneur in the city of Chicago. He is founding pastor of New Life Community Church, which has grown from a handful to several thousand people currently meeting at over 20 locations throughout Chicagoland. He holds a masters degree from Moody Theological Seminary and a doctorate from Bakke Graduate University.
