As you pick up your Bible to read the Christmas story this season, how can we know that what we are reading is accurate and true? What evidence do we have that the events in the Gospels actually happened? Wednesday we will explore these questions with scholar Peter J. Williams who will walk us through the historical and theological reliability of the four Gospels.
Voice of the Martyrs
As we freely worship and celebrate Christmas, Wednesday we will be reminded of our brothers and sisters who are experiencing persecution and suffering because of their faith in Jesus. Todd Nettleton from Voice of the Martyrs will be along to share what is happening around the world and how we can be praying and helping the persecuted church.
Todd Nettleton is director of media development for The Voice of the Martyrs, working with the media to tell the stories of persecuted Christians to people in the United States. In his role with VOM, he has met with Christians who face persecution in many countries, including Sudan, China, Egypt, Turkey, Vietnam, Pakistan, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar (Burma) and Azerbaijan.
