The warm family pictures and heartwarming movies during the holiday season do not reflect how many are feeling during this time of year. If you have recently experienced loss or have a hard time with the holiday season, listen in Tuesday as Pastor Luke Dunn will give us hope from God's Word to help us fight depression during this upcoming season.
Surviving the Holocaust
The recent shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh is a sign of the anti-Semitism that is on the rise here and in Europe. Ken and Deb will be visiting with Allan Ross of the Jewish Federation of the Quad Cities about this evil and how we can work together to fight it in our community. We'lll also hear about an opportunity to hear from a Holocaust survivor today at the Moline Library.
Luke Dunn is Pastor of First Baptist Church in Aledo, Il. He is a graduate of Lincoln Christian College with a BA in Christian Education and Central Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. He and his wife Mollie have been married since August, 2001, and have two children, Madilynn and Lucy.
