The rate of children being born outside of wedlock is going down in the U.S., but some of the reasons for that decreasing number may not be positive. Friday we will look at the lower birth rates and the increase in cohabitation with Focus on the Family’s Glenn Stanton. Glenn will bring encouragement for parents and families to encourage young men to develop strong friendships with women and take the step to ask her out.

There’s an opportunity coming up for you to bless a Veteran and enjoy a powerful family film. Friday we’ll hear about the upcoming release of God Bless the Broken Road as we visit with the film’s director Harold Cronk. This film tells the story of a young woman who is facing a crisis of faith after losing her husband to the war in Afghanistan.
Glenn Stanton is the director of Global Family Formation Studies at Focus on the Family and a research fellow at the Institute of Marriage and Family in Ottawa, Ontario. He debates and lectures extensively on the issues of gender, sexuality, marriage and parenting at universities and churches around the world. Stanton served the George W. Bush administration for many years as a consultant on increasing fatherhood involvement in the Head Start program. Stanton is a graduate of the University of West Florida with graduate degrees in philosophy and history. He resides in Colorado Springs with his wife and five children.
