The New Normal

The ideology that says that individuals can recreate their gender identity is now commonplace. How has this new normal impacting children, forcing them to address adult issues before they have the development and maturity to address them? Is the church giving in to this new cultural norm or bravely training the next generation in Biblical sexuality? These questions will be explored with author Robert Lopez, who has lived the gay lifestyle and has serious concerns about the new cultural normal regarding sex and marriage.

Voice of the Martyrs

Todd Nettleton from Voice of the Martyrs will share two amazing stories of forgiveness with us during Wednesday's program along with sharing concerns and prayer requests for believers in prison in Eritrea. Be listening to hear how you can be involved in supporting our brothers and sisters around the world who are being persecuted because of their faith in Christ.

Dr. Robert Lopez

Robert Oscar Lopez served as an Associate Professor of English at Cal State University Northridge before he was forced to leave. He now teaches at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Dallas.  He was raised by a lesbian mother and then went on to receive an undergraduate degree from Yale and his doctorate/MA in English/Classics from SUNY Buffalo. He reconnected with his biological father, fell in love with a woman, and became a father. These events along with his research led him to a position against gay marriage and toward a conservative political philosophy. He served in the US Army Reserves and is happily married with two children.
