Blood Moon

How does God use artistic ability to further the gospel? Monday we will visit with a local chalk artist and hear stories of how God has used this talent to draw people to faith in Christ. We'll also hear about an opportunity for you to see an upcoming presentation at an area church.

Blood Moon

The world is expecting to see the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century this Friday.  Monday we will visit with astronomer Hugh Ross about this "blood moon" and if there is any prophetic significance. We'll also hear some amazing facts about the moon that point to our great Creator God!

Dr. Hugh Ross

Dr. Hugh Ross is president and founder of Reasons to Believe (RTB). Dr. Ross is also an astronomer and best-selling author who travels the globe speaking on the compatibility of advancing scientific discoveries with the timeless truths of Christianity. At RTB, Dr. Ross leads a team of scholars who keep tabs on the frontiers of research with the goal of demonstrating that sound reason and scientific findings-including the very latest discoveries-consistently support rather than erode, confidence in the biblical God. He shares this message through numerous books-including Navigating Genesis , Hidden Treasures in the Book of Job , and Why the Universe Is the Way It Is . With a degree in physics from the University of British Columbia and a National Research Council of Canada fellowship, Dr. Ross earned a PhD in astronomy from the University of Toronto. In 2012, Dr. Ross, together with Dr. Gerald Schroeder, received the Ide P. Trotter Prize presented by Texas A&M University in recognition of his work in demonstrating connections between science and religion.
