How to Overcome Worry

How do you know when your concern has gone too far and worry has taken over? Moody Bible Institute Professor Dr. Winfred Neely will instruct us on how to handle the various concerns of life without becoming captive to fear and worry.

World Day Against Human Trafficking is later this month and Thursday Michele Rickett will join Ken and Deb to share the importance of this day and the work of She is Safe. Michele will share stories of hope and courage that she has witnessed thru her work helping to free girls who are trapped in slavery around the world.

Dr. Winfred Neely

Dr. Winfred Neely is an ordained minister of the gospel and a full time professor of hermeneutics, homiletics, and pastoral studies at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Prior to joining the faculty at Moody Bible Institute, Winfred served churches in the city of Chicago, his home town. Winfred brings to his ministry a global perspective, having served as a missionary/pastor in Senegal, West Africa for nine years. He is currently the interim pastor at Judson Baptist church in Oak Park, IL and conducts workshops and training events in the US and abroad. Winfred has been married to Stephne Neely for thirty-nine years. They have four adult children, and are the proud grandparents of seven grandsons, and two granddaughters.

Michele Rickett is the founder and president of She Is Safe, a global ministry that works to prevent, rescue and restore women and girls from abuse and exploitation in high-risk places around the world.
