Faith & Finance LiveGod Hears Her is a community of women who define our worth by God’s truth even when we feel like we’re not enough. Through honest conversations, personal stories, and biblically inspired resources, we speak life and truth into each other as we journey together. Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, VP and Publisher of Our Daily Bread Publishing, Chriscynethia Floyd joins us to share how these Scripture passages and inspirational quotes will reassure us that we are heard, cherished, and enough—no matter what we're going through.
It is not a secret the culture of dating has taken a significant shift from when our parents or grandparents were in this scene. Many people are not marrying older or looking to commit to a relationship later. Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Lisa Anderson, Director of Young Adults and Boundless at FOTF, tells us that nearly three in ten U.S. adults have said they have used a dating site or app with 40% saying that online dating has made dating easier for them. Dating apps are only increasing in popularity and meeting people organically through friends, work or church is decreasing. So the question is, why is this happening and is it necessarily a bad thing?
Chriscynethia Floyd is VP and publisher of Our Daily Bread Publishing. Her over twenty-year career spans both secular and Christian publishing, where she has served as a vice president in sales, marketing, and editorial for organizations like Simon and Schuster Publishing, HarperCollins Publishing, HarperCollins Christian Publishers, and the Children's Defense Fund. Chriscynethia holds a MBA from Michigan State University and a performance degree from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro.
Lisa Anderson is director of young adults for Focus on the Family, the world’s leading Christian organization dedicated to helping families thrive. She is the author of The Dating Manifesto: A Drama-Free Plan for Pursuing Marriage with Purpose and hosts The Boundless Show, a national radio program and weekly podcast, where she leads discussions on timely issues, interviews authors, artists and other newsmakers, facilitates Q & A, and volunteers far too much information from her personal life.
