Adventures In OdysseyIs it safe to visit the Holy Land this summer and fall? There are escalating tensions in Israel with Palestinian extremists, in particular Hamas. There are concerns that Hamas is stockpiling weapons and raising the bar on the conflict to a concerning level. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Uri Shacham, Magen David Adom's chief of staff will give us an update on the current situation in Israel.
Difficult people can be anywhere: at home, school, work, and play—and sometimes, even in the mirror! A difficult person often tries to dominate or control others, with actions and attitudes ranging from aggression to manipulation to passivity or passive-aggression. This person typically resists healthy communication and/or growth. We can’t stop people from being “difficult,” but we can make wise, godly choices to reduce the suffering their behaviors generate in us. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, licensed professional counselor Marti Wibbels shares with us specific action steps that can help us wisely face these challenges.
Uri Shacham is Magen David Adom's Chief of Staff and is regularly debriefed by the Israel Defense Forces.
