Hour 1: Hurricane Season Begins Today - with Erik Salna
It's hard to believe it, but June 1 marks the first day of Hurricane Season for 2023. NOAA forecasters with the Climate Prediction Center, a division of the National Weather Service, predict near-normal hurricane activity in the Atlantic this year. On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, meteorologist, Erik Salna joins us to share some details on the 2023 hurricane season outlook and to give us some tips on how to be prepared as the season begins.
Hour 2: Improving Teens Mental Health with Ken Tankersley
Teens are struggling, and they feel there's nobody to talk to about it. Over the past 10 years, the proportion of emergency room visits for mental health issues among teens doubled, and suicide-related issues increased. On Thursday’s Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Ken Tankersley, Senior Vice President of Community Networks with Young Life, will speak into how to talk to teens and speak their language, as well as give practical tips on updated methods to effectively reach Gen Z.
Hour 3: Game Day - with Brody Howell
It’s the end of another school year. On Thursday’s Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Brody Howell, Game Day Broward Director, will share testimonies of God at work, on public school campuses in our community from this past year…plus tips on an enjoyable and safe summer!
