Hour 2: Remembering Tim Keller - with Daniel Darling
On Monday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, writer, journalist, and podcast host Daniel Darling joins us to share how hard it is to quantify the impact of Tim Keller, an author, New York City pastor, scholar and intellectual leader, who passed away last Friday of pancreatic cancer at age 72. Even just hours before dying, Tim Keller's final public words indicate the he left the world the same way he lived in it--telling others about his faith. "I'm ready to see Jesus, he said. I can't wait to see Jesus. Take me home." Daniel Darling only met him once, but was impacted greatly by him as a mentor, through his books and writings.

Michael Rydelnik
Dr. Michael Rydelnik is vice president and Academic Dean and professor of Jewish Studies at Moody Bible Institute and the Bible teacher on Moody Radio's Open Line, answering listener Bible questions on over 200 stations nationwide across Moody Radio. The son of Holocaust survivors, he was raised in an observant Jewish home in Brooklyn, N.Y., and became a follower of Jesus the Messiah during his high school years. He is the author of several books, co-editor of The Moody Bible Commentary and contributor to many Bible teaching programs.
Daniel Darling
Daniel Darling is an author, pastor, and leader. He was recently appointed as the director of the Land Center for Cultural Engagement at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dan is a bestselling author of several books, including The Original Jesus, The Dignity Revolution, The Characters of Christmas, The Characters of Easter, The Characters of Creation, and A Way With Words. He is the general editor, along with Trillia Newbell, of a small group study on racial reconciliation, The Church and the Racial Divide and is a contributor to The Worldview Study Bible. He and his wife Angela have four children.
