Hour 1: Dwell: 90 Days at Home With God - with Sandra Byrd
On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, author and devotionalist, Sandra Byrd takes us on a 90-day journey from her new book, Dwell, as she draws inspiration from do-it-yourself projects, gardening, home decor, and more, and then pairs each story with biblical insights that nurture gratitude and deepen faith. Hour 2: Subjective Morality and Overcoming Sin - with Dr. Mark Turman
In a recent Pew Research Center report, two-thirds of American responding claimed that "it's not necessary to believe in God to be moral." They claim this because our secularized culture has convinced them that morality is personal and subjective. Like the archer who fires an arrow and paints the target around the place it lands, we get to choose what is moral for us and need no help from God in achieving it. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Mark Turman from The Denison Forum asks, "And what do we do when your definition of morality and mine directly contradict each other?" This debate is not only foundational to the future of our democracy--it is expecially urgent for the souls of evangelicals.

Sandra is an experienced devotionalist. Previous devotionals for women include The One Year Home and Garden Devotions (from which Dwell was drawn) and The One Year Experiencing God’s Love Devotional, which was named by Called Magazine. As an editor and an in-demand writing coach, Sandra is passionate about helping writers develop their talents and has mentored hundreds of writers at all stages of their writing careers. A dedicated foodie, Sandra cooks through the topic and location of every book she writes. She loves long walks with her husband and Sunday Suppers with her growing family.
Mark Turman
Dr. Mark Turman is the Executive Director of Denison Forum and Senior Contributor for Leadership. Previously, he pastored four churches in Texas across thirty-four years, including twenty-five years as the founding pastor of Crosspoint Church in McKinney, Texas. He holds a D.Min. from Truett Seminary, an M.Div from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a BA from Howard Payne University.
