Every Christian wants to grow into the person God made him to be. Doesn't every Christian have a healthier, more spiritually mature version of themselves in mind? But how does a Christian get there? How does a sapling with good intentions actually become an oak of righteousness? On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, pastor and author, Mason King invites his readers to consider their live as a tree, planting their lives next to the river of God's love in Christ. Rooting ourselves next to the river, again and again, puts us in a place for God to grow us over our lifetime.

Dennis Demarois
Dennis Demarois is the Executive Director of The Gathering of Palm Beach County. He is a Florida native and has a passion for encouraging and equipping men to become all that God wants them to be as Christ's disciples through the ministry of The Gathering Palm Beach.
Mason King
Mason King serves as a pastor at The Village Church in Flower Mound, Texas. He also serves as the Executive Director of The Village Church Institute, Groups, and Leadership Development. He is currently completing a Ph.D. in Church History from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and holds a D.Min. in Executive Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. A native Texan, Mason and his wife, Carly have three kids and two labs.
