Recently on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Anthony Bradley, college professor at The King's College in NY City, joined us to share why he believes we are in a "boy crisis". "Men and boys are lost!” He adds, “They don’t know why the country needs them. They don’t know why they are here.” The male problem today is a crisis of hopelessness. They lack a sense of purpose. He feels that the solution is NOT more programs, events, and educational resources for young men, but is more basic and simpler than this. It is individual life-to-life, active connection with other men who are older and wiser.
Dr. Anthony Bradley is professor of religious studies and director of the Center for the Study of Human Flourishing at The King’s College, Theologian-In-Residence at Redeemer Presbyterian Church—Lincoln Square, and serves as a research fellow at The Acton Institute. Dr. Bradley is called upon by members of the broadcast media for comment on current issues and has appeared on C-SPAN, NPR, CNN/Headline News, and Fox News, among others. He studies and writes on issues of the covenant theology, criminal justice reform, youth and family, poverty, education policy, social ethics, and race in America.
