Voice of the MartyrsWhat is marriage? Is it sharing a home? Is it being in love? Is it a promise? Join siblings Lila and Ethan as they celebrate their grandparents’ wedding anniversary and discover that marriage is a special sign that points to God’s unique love for us—the kind of love that keeps on going, no matter what. On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, pastor and apologist, Sam Allberry shows us that marriage is much more than these things.
Is the Bible sufficient for us in all circumstances? On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Tim Sansbury from Knox Theological Seminary joins us to talk about the upcoming Kingdom Come Conference at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church on March 31-April 1, where the Bible calls us to be citizens of the Kingdom of God, and rely on the sufficiency of scripture for our worldview. It will not give us an answer to every question we might have, but we need to be prepared to live with mystery, being humbled that He has not told us everything so there are some things we will not know.
Sam Allberry speaks around the world as a pastor, preacher and apologist. He is in the process of moving to the US to join the staff at Immanuel Nashville, is a Canon Theologian for the Anglican Church in North America, and is a Senior Fellow at OCCA Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. Sam is also the co-host of the podcast You’re Not Crazy: Gospel Sanity for Young Pastors.
Tim Sansbury is Professor of Philosophy and Theology and Provost at Knox Theological Seminary and an ordained pastor in the PCA. His academic specialties include ethics, theology and science, time and eternity, and the relationship between God’s sovereignty and human and natural causation. Tim’s undergraduate degree is in Physics from Georgia Tech, and was followed by an M.A. at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. Tim lives in South Florida with his three daughters, Anna, Emily, and Paige. A Miami native, he enjoys fishing, boating, and the annual heartbreak that comes with being a Dolphins fan.
