On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Grammy award winner, Bill Gaither will join us to talk about a Christmas special, All Heaven and Nature Sing with Bill Gaither & Friends, partnering with TBN and airing on Friday, December 9 at 8 p.m. ET. Taking the stage with Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band will be singer and songwriter Mark Lowry, as well as Gospel Music Hall of Fame members, The Nelons, popular female vocalist, Ladye Love Smith and talented male vocalist, Gene McDonald.

Hour 2: Lessons on Surrender From a Cowgirl and a King - with Lisa Boucher
When we feel most vulnerable and at the end of ourselves, those are times when we try to take control and fix the situations in our lives ourselves. That's not always a good thing. Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, author Lisa Boucher encourages us to stay in the saddle and ride through life with a looser rein. In the Scriptures, King Jehoshaphat understood that when he was boxed in by his enemy--at his most vulnerable moment, he leaned on God and let go of the outcome. Letting go allows us to accept that we can’t solve all our problems; we can’t save others from themselves; we can’t stop the inevitable from happening. What we can do is let go and trust that God has the answer.

Lisa Boucher
Author and speaker Lisa Boucher has devoted the last several decades helping women to recovery from alcoholism, and as life changes so has her mission. The one common denominator she’s noticed when interacting with others out in the world is that people in general struggle to trust Jesus and let go of the things in their lives that they can’t control. It’s with that thought that the Lord led her to find the prayer of King Jehoshaphat that prompted her to write, Pray. Trust. Ride: Lessons on Surrender from a Cowgirl and a King, in hopes it would helps others to lean on God and let go of those things in our lives that strangle our hearts and keep us up at night. She’s married and is the mother of twins.
