Most of us familiar with music realize there is rich doctrine contained in many hymns that have been forgotten or left unsung in our modern times. Our guest on Wednesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Amanda Vazquez, remembered learning one of these hymns as a music student in college (Come Ye Sinners), filled with such profound truth and yet set to such a simple and singable melody. Amanda joins us today to share how she wrote modern harmonies to this and other hymns, gave them a more contemporary rhythmic feel, and with the Calvary Chapel Worship Team has introduced them to their congregation.
During the holiday season, relationships of all kinds are overlooked, including our marriages. It's important to remember that a marriage doesn't get better by coasting--it takes intentionality and work, and spending quality time with the one you love. On Wednesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Scott Salisbury, Director of Marriage Programs for Live the Life South Florida joins us to talk about the natural cycle of relationships and how love is experienced when needs are met in different ways.
