The story of Christmas brings people together, and this morning will be no different! On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, don't miss The Lubben Brothers, a Classical Ensemble and Folk Band, LIVE in studio, sharing some Christmas favorites and some new Christmas songs that will be performed at upcoming events in the South Florida area! Hour 2: World Cup Mania - with Glenn Durr
One of the most eagerly anticipated World Cups in memory--as much for off-the-field reasons as those on it--is being played right now in Qatar. Qatar is located in the Middle East, in the Northeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, and is the smallest country ever to host a World Cup. There will be 32 teams competing, 64 matches in 29 days! On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Glenn Duerr, Professor of International Studies at Cedarville University joins us to talk about how the world is watching as soccer's focus is all on Qatar, as it hosts World Cup Mania!

The Lubben Brothers
Triplets and high-energy acoustic musicians, The Lubben Brothers specialize in tight vocal harmonies and an eclectic blend of folk instruments involving banjo, mandolin, tin whistle, accordion, hammered dulcimer, and fiddle. Diving into classical music at a young age, their modern songwriting style merges folk roots with complex pop ideas. The Lubben Brothers’ musical, Prodigals, heralded by the concept album "Prodigal Songs" and co-written with acclaimed actor and director Bruce Linser, promises to be the culmination of the brothers' artistic journey through their roots in folk music, classical exploration, and storytelling.
Glen Duerr
Dr. Glen Duerr was born in the United Kingdom, moved to Canada as a teenager, and then to the United States to obtain his Ph.D. His teaching and research interests include nationalism and secession, political violence (nuclear weapons and terrorism), and Christianity and politics. He serves as Policy Fellow for the Wallace Institute for Arctic Security, which advocates for a robust U.S. policy for the Arctic. In addition to his academic duties, he is an "elected official" and currently serves as City Council Member in Beavercreek, Ohio. He is married and has three children.
