How do we view activism? Isn't it more than signing petitions, attending rallies or marches, or engaging in political agendas? What does it look like to be moved by the things that moves God's heart in the day-to-day? How can we live in such a way that we are always, out of habit, contributing to a more just society? On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, church planter, teacher, and author, Josh Buck joins us to share that God demands justice because every single human has been made in God's image. He unpacks seven radical practices from the life of Jesus--mobilizing ordinary people to do God's work of justice in the world.
On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, join us as we welcome Elizabeth A. Mitchell who has written a book for all who feel incapable of persevering, let alone overcoming--those who need hope when life seems unfair. Elizabeth describes the incredible true story of her family's journey through the heartache and triumph of their son James' congenital heart disease that ultimately included a heart transplant and heartbreak. Her honest sharing offers time-tested biblical insights to direct your heart to trust God's complete sufficiency, knowing He is able to bring good out of every situation, in His perfect time.
J.W. Buck is a church planter, filmmaker, teacher, and faith-based entrepreneur. With undergraduate degrees in biblical studies and ministry, J.W. has his PhD in intercultural studies, with a focus on the problem of racial violence.
