He and his wife of 30+ years, Cynthia have five children and seven grandchildren, as well as one great-grandchild. National Singles Week is Sept. 18-24, and with nearly 50% of adults in the U.S. single, one would think that this group would be a primary focus of ministries and churches. However, many who are unmarried feel the opposite and singles often feel invisible, alienated, and forgotten. On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Lisa Anderson, host of Focus on the Family's Boundless Show, joins us to talk about why it is so important to support the singles in our midst.

Billy Thompson is one of only four players to have won an NCAA championship and an NBA championship in back-to-back seasons. Oversees, Billy helped lead Hapoel Jerusalem to two State Cup titles for the first time in Israeli history and he is one of the most favored foreign basketball players ever to play in Israel. Billy is a born-again Christian and presently pastors Jesus People Proclaim International Church with his wife of 30+ years, Cynthia. They have 5 children and 7 grandchildren, as well as 1 great-grandchild.

Lisa Anderson is the director of young adults for Focus on the Family and host of the Boundless Show. She is the author of The Dating Manifesto and hosts The Boundless Show", a national radio program and weekly podcast, where she leads discussions on timely issues, interviews authors, artists and other newsmakers, facilitates Q&A and volunteers far too much information from her personal life.
