We will never be short on fears. Failure, rejection, sickness, losing a loved one, being alone—the fears we carry are many and heavy. Fear can be a tyrant, a bully we can’t hide from. It can paralyze our spirit, damage our relationships, and hinder our faith. On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, author, Trillia Newbell joins us and shares that she is no stranger to fear. She has known its harsh grip on her life, but she has also known the gentle hand of God, a peace and a faith from the One who conquers fears. In Fear and Faith, Trillia will encourage you as she reflects on Scripture and her own story.
Hour 2: The Caring Place - 100 Years of Caring for the Homeless - with Rev. Ronald Brummitt
The vision of the Caring Place is to transform the lives of homeless men, women and children through comprehensive residential programs to effect lasting change and empower them to be productive members of society. The Caring Place is celebrating 100 years of ministering to the homeless at the Miami Rescue Mission and Broward Outreach Centers. On Thursday’s Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, President of The Caring Place, Rev. Ronald Brummitt will join us to talk about how The Caring Place was started by graduates of MBI, John and Zeda Sheulchler, under a tent feeding and giving the gospel nightly.

Trillia Newbell is the author of several books including 52 Weeks in the Word, A Great Cloud of Witnesses, Sacred Endurance, If God is For Us, Fear and Faith and the children's books, The Big Wide Welcome, Creative God, Colorful Us and God's Very Good Idea. When she isn't writing, she's encouraging and supporting other writers as an Acquisitions Director at Moody Publishers. Trillia is married to her best friend, Thern; they reside with their two children near Nashville, TN.
Ronald Brummitt
Rev. Ronald Brummitt is the President of The Caring Place with campuses at Miami Rescue Mission and Broward Outreach Centers. He has been serving the homeless and needy of South Florida for 31 years. The Caring Place operates centers in Miami and Broward serving nearly over 1,000 men, women, and children daily and touching over 10,000 disenfranchised individuals throughout the year. He is thankful to his wife, Marilyn, and to his mentors, Dr. Frank and Maxine Jacobs for their love and support.
