Hour 1: What do Americans believe about God, salvation, ethics, and the Bible? - with Dr. Mark Turman
Despite the clear teaching of Scripture, a recent survey from Ligonier Ministries and Lifeway Research reveals that approximately half of evangelicals believe that God learns and adapts to various situations, meaning that they believe that God does change. This may indicate the influence of open theism (which denies God’s complete knowledge of future events) and may also indicate a lack of clear, biblical teaching on the character of God in evangelical churches. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Mark Turman, Executive Director of the Denison Forman joins us to discuss the findings of this research survey on Americans belief in God.

Mark Turman
Dr. Mark Turman is the Executive Director of Denison Forum and Senior Contributor for Leadership. Previously, he pastored four churches in Texas across thirty-four years, including twenty-five years as the founding pastor of Crosspoint Church in McKinney, Texas. He holds a D.Min. from Truett Seminary, an M.Div from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a BA from Howard Payne University.
Keith Campbell
Keith and Lisa Campbell serve at the Wycliffe USA headquarters in Orlando, Florida. Keith serves as Medical Director for Wycliffe USA Health Services. Lisa serves their family of three children at home. Wycliffe USA Global Health Services works closely with their partner organizations to support their missionaries’ physical, mental, and spiritual health enabling them to joyfully serve God within His calling on their lives. With Health Services encouraging wholistic health, Wycliffe translators and support staff are working to bring God's Word to all peoples of the earth in a language and a form they can clearly understand.
