Hour 1: 30th Anniversary of Hurricane Andrew
This summer is the anniversary of Hurricane Andrew, a Category 5 storm that devastated South Florida with wind damage. Andrew is just one of four hurricanes to make landfall in the U.S. at Category 5 strength. It defied the odds by also striking in one of the least active Atlantic hurricane seasons in the last 30 years. On Wednesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, meteorologist Stan Goldenberg joins us to share more about the effect of the storm on South Florida and how it impacted him personally.
Hour 2: Teens and Screens - with Chris Martin
How often does your teen use social media? What social media platforms are most popular among the students in your student ministry? Probably a lot, and probably YouTube and TikTok, according to a new survey from Pew Research Center. 46% of teens say they use the internet almost constantly; some of this may be associated with school work, but some studies say about 60 percent spend more than four hours a day on social media alone. On Wednesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Moody Publishers Content Marketing and Social Media Consultant joins us to talk about his recent article in the Gospel Coalition, "5 New Stats You Should Know About Teens and Social Media".
