Short-term mission trip season is underway, and Christians around the U.S. are mobilizing in droves to go out and be the hands and feet of Jesus. How can a short-term mission group have the greatest impact on orphaned and vulnerable children and their families, lasting long after the mission group leaves and returns home? On Wednesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Elli Oswald, Executive Director of Faith to Action Initiative joins us to talk about best practices for churches looking to provide long-term, life-changing support for vulnerable children around the world.

On Wednesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Executive Director of WITW International, Kim Kerr joins us to introduce one of WITW's ministry partners, Jackline Odhiambo, from Kenya. She is the Founder and Executive Director at Nyanam Widows Rising, a local non-profit in western Kenya, that is helping widows reclam their dignity and contribute to their communities.
