On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, we welcome The Lubben Brothers back to our WRMB studios to share an update on what's been happening with this group of high-energy acoustic musicians and to introduce their new song, "True Love Always Stays". The Lubben Brothers specialize in tight vocal harmonies and an eclectic blend of folk instruments. Diving into classical music at a young age, their modern songwriting style merges folk roots with complex pop ideas.
Hour 2: How Forgiving Helps Us Enjoy Life
All of us experience situations, people, or events that fuel emotional pain. Forgiveness helps us release that pain to move forward into new opportunities. Traumatic memories—from hurts and rejection to relationship wounds—are stored in the brain’s amygdalae and can be repeatedly reactivated by any of our five senses. The choice to forgive frees us from lingering resentments that can keep us mentally, physically, or emotionally stuck in the past. Forgiveness is a transaction, a choice to obey God--sometimes long before we feel like forgiving.

Diving into classical music at a young age, their modern songwriting style merges folk roots with complex pop ideas The Lubben Brothers’ new musical, Prodigals, heralded by the concept album "Prodigal Songs" and co-written with acclaimed actor and director Bruce Linser, promises to be the culmination of the brothers' artistic journey through their roots in folk music, classical exploration, and storytelling.
Marti Wibbels
Marti Wibbels, MS, LMHC, is a psychotherapist in private practice at Palm Beach Counseling and Life Coaching in South Florida. She is a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor, member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and of the South Florida Association of Christian Counselors. A Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Marti's work integrates Scripture with proven counseling methods. She is author of the counseling workbook, Core Healing from Trauma and two novels, Secrets Behind the Door and Sound of Light. She and her husband, Alan were blessed with three daughters and with precious grandchildren and enjoy spending time with their family.
