Hour 1: Food For The Poor Helping Ukraine
There is a humanitarian crisis in Ukraine as milliions of refugees flee and many of those left behind are the most impoverished citizens and the elderly, who have no means of escaping. On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Ed Raine, President/CEO of Food For the Poor joins us to talk about the volunteers needed on Sat. July 23 for Food For the Poor's "Join the Pack Day for Ukraine!" This will be a huge opportunity for anyone wanting to help come pack rice casserole meals, and then their partner, Feed My Starving Children, will see that these meals get to those most in need.
Hour 2: Supreme Court Decision - A Win for Religious Freedom
Last week the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Coach Joseph Kennedy, the football coach who had been praying at the 50-yard line after his team's football games. On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Bruce Hausknecht, J.D., judicial analyst for Focus on the Family weighs in on this huge win for religious freedom. The Court has given every American the right to live out their faith--including praying in public--without the fear of punishment.

Ed Raine is President and Chief Executive Officer of Food For The Poor. He joined Food For The Poor in October 2017, and was appointed Executive Vice President in May 2018. Ed first saw the work of Food For The Poor on a mission trip to Haiti in 2009, and realized that he could align his passion to help organizations scale for growth with helping donors who care so passionately to help those less fortunate make a real difference in the world. He lives in Boca Raton with his wife, Mary, who was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. They have four adult children.
