Hour 1: The Stranger At Our Shore

A gripping tale of escape from Egypt, The Stranger at Our Shore is the true story of one young man’s journey out of Islam into new life in Christ. On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Chicago pastor Joshua Sherif relates his remarkable testimony and calls the Western Church to reconsider the plight of the modern day sojourners in our land. We need to reexamine our thinking about the strangers at our shore and the ones living right next door—and to return wholeheartedly to the church's first charge: making disciples.

Hour 2: Songs and Our Heritage

Our Hymns, Our Heritage encourages a love and appreciation for the church’s hymns—a significant way to pass the Christian faith from generation to generation. The book features music and lyrics for 121 hymns that are divided into sections based on the church year, God’s nature and attributes, and our responses to Him. On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, David and Barbara Leeman join us to talk about this book of hymns, A Student Guide to Songs of the Church written to acquaint students of all ages with a generous collection of our greatest hymns, both ancient and modern.
