Hour 1: Diabetes - Am I At Risk?

Most of us know someone either in our family or in our circle of friends who have diabetes, and this disease seems much more prevalent in our culture today than it was years ago. Many factors have been contributing--population growth, age of the population, but also lack of exercise and obesity are also factors. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Keith Campbell, Medical Director of Wycliffe USA Global Health Services joins us to talk about diabetes. Who is at risk? Can we do anything to prevent it? How important is it to treat?

Hour 2: Emotional Pain and Self Injury

People often feel isolated and alone. Yet we're all part of Christ's body: when anyone feels pain, the body suffers, too. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together (1 Cor. 12:26) We need to be present for those suffering, providing an environment of unconditional love and practical support. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, licensed professional counselor, Marti Wibbels joins us to talk about self-injury and how by God's grace, these self-harming behaviors can be determinedly replaced with healthy, healing choices, and working on developing an intimate walk with God.
