The U.S. average for the price of a gallon of regular gas hit $4.96 according to the most recent reading from AAA last Wednesday. With the summer travel season just getting underway, demand for gasoline, coupled with the cut-off of Russian oil shipments due to the war in Ukraine, is sending oil prices higher on global markets. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Jeff Hammond, Professor of Economics at Cedarville University joins us to talk about how much gas prices may go up this summer and how high it will go before consumers will cut back on their driving habits.
The challenge is deceptively simple: the four voices vying for your attention, and your soul, are the World, the Flesh, the Devil -- and the Holy Spirit. But stakes are quite high. Not mastering the negative voices in your head will eat away at your self-worth, poison your relationships, stunt your growth as a person, and limit how far you go in life. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Bible teacher and author, Patrick Morley joins us to show us how to conquer those thoughts and feelings that keep dragging us down, and with God’s help, we can set our heart free and find peace of mind.
Jeffrey Haymond is the Dean, School of Business Administration; Professor of Economics at Cedarville University. He joined Cedarville University faculty in 2010 after a 29 year career in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, Colonel Haymond had assignments in engineering, satellite control and launch operations and also taught at the United States Air Force Academy. Dr. Haymond has a passion for thinking Biblically and economically. He considers the integration of a Christian worldview in the broader society the most positive social policy possible. This passion brought him to Cedarville University, where he hopes to help the next generation of Christian leaders develop the ability to think critically with a distinctly Christian worldview.
Patrick Morley started a weekly Bible study in a bar in 1986 with a handful of guys—a study that now reaches thousands of men around the world every week (mimbiblestudy.com). That gave rise to the book The Man in the Mirror, and then 21 more. After building one of Florida’s top 100 privately held companies by the age of 35, Patrick founded Man in the Mirror at his kitchen table, an organization that is now an international men’s ministry. He graduated from the University of Central Florida, earned a PhD in management, completed postgraduate studies at Harvard Business School and Oxford University, and graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary. He and his wife live in Winter Park, FL.
