Hour 1: Silence, Civility, and Sanity: Hope for Humanity in a Digital Age

Has anyone ever wondered these days--in our culture--why we cannot have a civil conversation with someone who does not agree with us about an important issue? Silence, Civility, and Sanity addresses the reclamation of civil communication and healthy public conversation at a time when people are very divided. Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Stephanie Bennett, Professor of Communication and Media Ecology at PBA joins us to share how throughout this book, she focuses on the importance of silence to temper speech and embrace the art of listening to foster a more positive dialogue and civil society.
