We live in a child-centered culture. A culture that often says our primary job as a parent is to make sure our child is always happy. We all want our children to be happy, but that’s not our primary goal as parents. Our primary goal is to raise adults with a solid faith who will make a positive contribution to society. Author and speaker, Susan Alexander Yates joins Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte to share some suggestions about how to discipline your child at different age levels. Good conversation starters with your friends!
On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Lisa May, Executive Director of Live the Life South Florida tells us about their organization's 10 year campaign to saturate South Florida with marriage and relationship education to see a stronger foundational fabric in our community. Live the Life South Florida's 10 year mission will be to see Broward County transform dramatically over the next ten years as they focus on four goals: increase marriage rates, decrease divorce rates, decrease non-marital child-births, and increase church attendance.
In a post-Christian world, dominated by post-modernism, how should we respond? The Apostle Paul calls us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Our beliefs shape our actions. The Church needs to respond by seeking a biblical worldview in this cultural moment. The aim of God is His Glory and the advancement of His Kingdom. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Lead Pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, Rob Pacienza joins us to share how God accomplishes this through the Church, which is called to live out a public faith. Register below for The Kingdom Come Conference that will be held this coming Friday evening and Saturday at CRPC.
