"Teach us to number our days carefully so that we may develop wisdom in our hearts." These words prayed by Moses from Psalm 90 reflect an eternal truth: we need God's help to number our days and capture every moment, so that we can live it with wisdom. On Wednesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, pastor and author, Gregg Matte has written a 365-day daily devotional that will point us back to what matters most and help us capture each moment, rather than let it slip away.
After a steep drop in 2020, the number of marriages in the U.S. is set to explode in the coming years. One industry report expects 2022 to have 2.5 million nuptials--the most in nearly four decades. Many of those couples will recite marriage vows, but what do those vows actually mean? Dr. Greg Smalley, VP of Marriage at Focus on the Family joins Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Wednesday to share that many of those marrying today do not fully understand what they are promising to do. What do traditional marriage vows mean, and why are they still important?
