A gang that kidnapped 17 members of a U.S.-based missionary group last weekend has demanded $1 million ransom per person. The official, who was not authorized to speak to the press, told The Associated Press that someone from the 400 Mawozo gang made the demand Saturday in a call to a leader of the ministry group after the abduction. This group was returning to the U.S. from visiting an orphanage when it was abducted. What is the heart and mindset of the abducted missionaries? Dr. Matt Bennett, a former missionary who served in a hostile region in the world for 17 years, now serves as an assistant professor of missions and theology at Cedarville University and joins Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Monday to speak into this critical situation. He can speak to the mindset of the missionaries and why they risked their lives to serve in Haiti.

If you're a Christian, you trust what you read in your bible as The Truth. But why do you trust what you're reading? Monday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Steven Sanchez, Professor of Bible at MBI tells us that the Words of Scripture are "inspired", meaning those words have found their origin in God Himself. They are God-breathed. This is just one of the reason why we can trust our bibles! If you have any more questions on the authority of the Bible, don't miss this exciting discussion on the Word of God, the foundation of our faith.
