Church United was an idea birthed by local pastors who desired to see greater connection and collaboration between our local churches. Our unity and love for one another is how the world will know and believe the message of Jesus. The Church is the hope of the world and South Florida. Church United’s Director, Eddie Copeland joins Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Thursday to give an update on Church United and highlight how its vision is to share faith, give hope, and extend love throughout South Florida.
Our daily responsibilities, worries of the future, concerns of the world around us . . . our circumstances so easily take our focus off Christ. How can we remain focused on Christ and not get sidetracked in our faith like the Corinthians? Join Pastor Josiah Graves of the Exchange Church in Deerfield Beach as he encourages us to keep our focus on the Gospel and stay strong in our walk through daily faithfulness.
Edwin (Eddie) currently serves as the Director of Church United — a trans-denominational movement that seeks to unify the Church for the sake of mission. Eddie firmly believes the Church is the hope of the world and has worked toward that end throughout his entire career. Prior to his time at NCF, Eddie served in executive level leadership and pastoral staff in both local Church and para-church ministries. His greatest joy is being married to the love of his life and high-school sweetheart Sara and being dad to his daughter, Anna, and son, Nathan.
Josiah and Kimber Graves are The Exchange Church planters, a church with a heart to see the Gospel renew South Florida. The Graves began their ministry together at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale where Josiah had the opportunity to serve as an intern-Pastor and to be discipled under Pastor Chuck Smith, before hearing the calling to work in Ministry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In early 2016, Josiah and Kimber began pursuing a call to plant a church, seeking the Lord’s wisdom and vision as they stepped out in faith. Together, with their son Micah and daughter Kinsley, they have felt the call to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to the diverse cultures in South Florida and serve their community. Their passion is to see people come to know Jesus and to see the city find hope and healing in the Gospel.
