We can always count on God to take what we offer Him and multiply it! Moody students get the biblical and ministry training they need to follow God’s call on their lives. Together, we can prepare the next generation to bring the hope of the gospel to our world. Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, President of MBI, Dr. Mark Jobe will join us to give us a ministry update on the status of the Moody Bible Institute as the 2020-21 school year comes to a close.
Christian comedian, Kristin Weber will join Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Tuesday to talk about the four unique struggles millenials and GenZ face. As a millennial herself, Kristin has written a new book intended to help this generation navigate through the letdowns and false expectations they've believed about life. With plenty of humor and scripture, she points her peers back to their only true constant: Jesus.
Dr. Mark Jobe serves as Moody Bible Institute’s 10th president. He is the Bible teacher on Bold Steps with Dr. Mark Jobe and the author of What Now?: How to Move into Your Next Season and Unstuck: Out of Your Cave Into Your Call. He and his wife, Dee, have been married over 30 years and have three adult children, Marissa, Josiah and Grant. The Jobes currently reside in the Chicago area where they are active members of New Life Community Church, a nondenominational, multisite church where Dr. Jobe has served as senior pastor since 1986. Mark is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and holds a Master’s Degree from Moody Theological Seminary and a doctorate from Bakke Graduate University.
Kristin Weber is a comedian, speaker, and writer who has performed at clubs, colleges, cruises and churches (pretty much any venue that starts with the letter "c") all over the United States and Canada. As a writer, she's contributed to a number of popular blogs and has authored three devotional advice books for teen girls. Her fourth book, Adulting for Jesus: A Book About Purpose, Trusting God, and (obviously) Burritos, was released in February 2021. Kristin currently lives in Atlanta, where she enjoys killing oversized insects and eating Chipotle. She plays the accordion, so she is still single.
