Hour 1: How Do I Get My COVID Vaccine?

The COVID vaccine is very much in the news these days, and if you are waiting for an appointment to receive your first dose, there are some important details to be aware of. Thursday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Laura Rhodes, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at PBAU will answer questions about the process involved with the COVID vaccine and the easiest ways you can go about signing up for an appointment.

Hour 2: Powerful Prayers of the Bible

Chris Rappazini, author of the April edition of Today in the Word, joins Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Thursday to talk about this month's emphasis on Powerful Prayers of the Bible. We will examine prayers of Jesus, kings, prophets, and Christ's followers, as well as learn patterns of prayer based on biblical examples. Hopefully, this will deepen our own prayer lives by focusing on aspects of how to pray.

Laura Rhodes

Dr. Laura Rhodes is on the faculty of the Gregory School of Pharmacy at Palm Beach Atlantic University after completing a PGY1 community-based pharmacy residency with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) and Moose Professional Pharmacy, and a two-year community practice engagement fellowship in the division of practice advancement and clinical education at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She develops and implements patient care services in the community pharmacy setting with a specific interest in nonprescription medications, immunizations, and quality improvement initiatives. Her research interests are focused on the scholarship of application and the scholarship of practice-based education.

Chris Rappazini is the associate professor and program head of the BA and MA in Pastoral Studies at Moody Bible Institute and Moody Theological Seminary. He is the vice president of the Evangelical Homiletics Society and previously served as the associate minister of preaching and teaching at Southside Christian Church in Spokane, Washington. Chris and his wife, Ashley, and their three children reside in Northwest Indiana.
