Hour 2: Was the Cross Really Necessary? What Does the Bible Say About Easter?

We know that Jesus died to pay for our sins so that we could be made right with God. Here’s the question behind the text: Why did he have to do so? Why couldn’t God simply have declared us forgiven? Why did his Son have to die for us? Join Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Thursday when Jim Denison deals with this question and the answer--"our sins had to be paid for, and the punishment for sin is death." Jesus is the answer to our hope for this world and the next.
